After that night, I threw myself into work

Wróbel, Olga (1982- )

A board showing Abraham returning to his "world", sewing shoes. In the course of work, he remembers the not so distant moments (unlike the next three ones that are in brighter and warmer colours, the frame with Abraham bending over the machine is brownish-gray). As it was also emphasized in the adapted autobiography, the comic book depicts the great change in Abraham that was caused by close contacts with peers in the summer camps. “I used to be embarrassed by the company, I was wild […]. And here is a clear and immediate change: I was not even aware how comfortable I was with the "jents"”. It refers to girls - from the female name "Jenta", in such a condescending way Jewish boys called representatives of the opposite sex.
