A very nice, somewhat folk style, building at 60 Herojiw Majdanu Street (Ukr. вулиця Героїв Майдану, 60) once housed the "Azyl" asylum for elderly Jews. It is a three-storey building, covered by a mansard roof. The building is currently used by the medical faculty of the Bukovinian State Medical University (Ukr. Czerniwećkyj medycznyj koledż Bukowynśkoho derżawnoho medycznoho uniwersytetu, Чернівецький медичний коледж Буковинського державного медичного університету).
