A spice tower (besamim box) in the form of a house with an opening roof. The construction is adorned with intricate filigree work. Russian hallmarks B.C.|1866 and the purity mark 88 are struck on the inner side of the roof. The controller's mark indicates St Petersburg as the place of origin for the besamim box. Unfortunately, based on the partially preserved maker's mark, it is not possible to determine the workshop from which the presented item originates.
