Bogusław Allina's receipt card from the period of German occupation | Quittungskarte

Bogusław Allina's insurance card (quittungskarte) No. 1 from the period of German occupation, issued on 1 November 1944. The document is a double-sided typed official form in German. On the first side of the card, in the upper right corner, there is a round stamp with an eagle symbolising the Third Reich and the Aesculapius' serpent, a symbol of medicine, superimposed on each other. The stamp reads: "Betriebskrankenkasse Der [Firma] | vom Rath, Schoeller & Skene [A.-G.] | Ausgabestelle für Quittung[skarten] | Der Invalidenversicherung | Klettendorf k. Breslau”. On the other side of the card is written the amount of the insurance payment for the period 19 October–31 December 1944 of 428.70 marks, which was confirmed by the company stamp with the inscription: "vom Rath, Schoeller & Skene | aktiengesellschaft | Zuckerfabrik | Klattendorf Kr. Breslau" and the signature. | MH
