Brass tray

The round brass tray has a gently wavy edge. The decoration of the item is the Star of David inside a circle (with numbers in the middle: "1.9.3.1") surrounded by a wreath of stylised floral vine. The plant decoration and the central circle were carved first. It was only later that the entire ornament was corrected using the point-engraving technique, the Star of David and letters were applied in the same way. It cannot be ruled out that the point-applied decoration was added later, not when the tray was created.

The item was purchased for the Lublin Open Air Village Museum in 2007 from a Warsaw collector who had bought it in an antique shop in Warsaw.
