The building of the men's Cheder Iwri People's School and the Tachkemoni Middle School for boys was constructed in Kraków's Kazimierz district, close to the Termpel and Kupa synagogues, at 26 Miodowa Street in 1929. Its construction was initiated by activists from the Kraków section of the Mizrachi orthodox Zionist party. The building was designed by Bernard Zimmermann.
