Photographic documentation of the site

At 23 Synahohy Street (Ukr. вулиця Синагоги, 23) in Chernivtsi the former synagogue of the Chassidim of Vyzhnytsia is preserved, dating back to the end of the 19th century. It is an orientated building, covered by a gable roof, and stands with its ridge to the street. It was built with funds from the Psalm Brotherhood (Chevra Tehilim), hence the name. Its main users were Hasidim from Vyzhnytsia, residing in Chernivtsi.
