Collection of writings

A collection of writings from the collection of the Regional Museum in Pińczów. It consists of:

1. The Book of the Collection of Pearls, Piotrków 1911, at Rav Meir Wajs. It consists of 124 pages.

2. The second item is The Book of Israel's Greatness, Trading House and Bookshop, Rav Szalom Szachna Monek, in Warsaw at 37 Franciszkańska Street. In the footer in Russian, title and names: Lewin–Epsztejn,14 Pawia Street, Warsaw 1902. On the reverse, also in Russian, an inscription stating that the work was approved by the censorship in Warsaw on 5 November 1902. It consists of 132 pages.

3. The third part is The Book of Israel's Eternity. Title reproduced in Russian and again the Trading House etc. The footer in Russian includes: title, Warsaw 188(?), owner of the printing house Michał Ziemkiewicz, 14 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. Inscription on the reverse stating that the work was approved by the censorship in Warsaw on 5 November 1902. It consists of 140 pages.

4. The fourth part is the Book of Sacred Writings, subtitled: Sages of Truth. Footer in Russian: title, Rabbi I. Dancig, Warsaw 1884. Inscription on the reverse stating that the work was approved by the censorship in St Petersburg on 1 June 1883, and below: Printing House of Ig. Chudziński and K in Warsaw, 5 Mylna Street (this street no longer exists today). The book consists of 80 pages.

Mylna [Polish: "deceptive"] Street ran at the back of the Evangelical Church on what is now Solidarności Avenue. It was winding and, nomen omen, difficult to find. Today its exit would be near the Muranów cinema in Warsaw.

5. The final part is The Book of Israel's Redemption. Published at the expense of Rav Matil Knaster in Warsaw at 39 Franciszkańska Street. Warsaw 1907. Below in Russian: Printing House F. at 39 Franciszkańska Street. Baumritter, 6 Krasiński Square, Warsaw. It consists of 70 pages.
