The design of theatre scenography – a basement

Pacanowski, Bolesław (1901-1977)

Many people live in this ``cellar room``, and beds are everywhere. Some try to find at least a little intimacy, for example, the sleeping places for a small family – the parents' bed and a cradle – are separated by a screen. Although it would seem that in this cramped space you can only sleep and eat, on the wall in the back hangs a guitar. One of the inhabitants liked music and played the guitar in his spare time.
