The first of a set of six dessert forks manufactured by BUBELA i SKA. The fork is made of metal alloy and is plated with a thin layer of silver. Its four tines are flattened and oblong. The fork's handle is flat and widens downwards. The handle features a frugal art déco style geometric pattern. The decoration consists of two simple grooves (thinnings) running along both edges of the handle. The end of the handle is bevelled where it has been thinned.

Some desserts are served with both a fork and a spoon. An example would be an apple pie with ice cream, where the shortcrust pastry should be cut with a fork and the ice cream eaten with a spoon. The variation of cutlery is therefore necessitated by the consistency of the dessert ingredients. In our cultural circle, the accepted social etiquette rules allow certain "one-bite" shortcrust pastries (e.g. butter biscuits or oatcakes) to be eaten with hands. However, a fork should be used for most pastries (sponge cakes, shortcakes or cakes). In contrast, a spoon should be used when eating mousses, puddings and ice cream.
