Objects

A document in Russian with a translation into Polish, created on 30 July 1884 and confirming the marriage of Estera Miechowier of Olkusz and Gutman Weicman of Będzin. The document was signed by the Olkusz rabbi Mojżesz Zając and confirmed by the local mayor. The stamps of the Jewish clergyman and the city council are visible on it. In the upper left corner there is a stamp of stamp duty with the coat of arms of the Russian Empire at a price of 60 kopecks.

In 1885, Olkusz was inhabited by 1,666 Jews, who made up 60% of the total population.
