Documents of Berek Tropauer

A forty-four-page set of documents produced as a result of the proceedings in the case involving the use of an expired passport by Berek Tropauer. The set includes the mentioned passport and a letter from the Investigative Department of the District Police Headquarters in Sosnowiec. Berek Tropauer, born on 5 February 1892, in Olkusz, lived with his family at 31 Rynek Street (ul. Rynek 31) during his youth. In the mid-1930s, he moved to Jasna Street (ul. Jasna) in Sosnowiec . Like his father, he was involved in trade. He used the passport during his trips to Germany but failed to renew its validity, which led to its confiscation by the police in February 1939.
