Documents of Doba Gitla Szwarcberg

A twenty-four-page set of documents produced as a result of the proceedings in the case involving the issue of a passport for Doba (Dora) Gitla Szwarcberg. The set includes documents issued by the Olkusz County Office, the District Police Headquarters in Olkusz, and the applicant herself. The files also include the applicant's identification card and her portrait photographs. Doba Gitla Szwarcberg, born on 14 April 1894, in Będzin (née Landau), arrived in Olkusz in 1916. A year later, she married Moszek Mechuel Szwarcberg. They had three children: Ester Fajgla, Henoch, and Sore Jochebet. In 1940, she was likely in Kraków. She died during World War II. In 1930, she needed a passport to travel to Vienna with her sister, who was scheduled for a medical operation.
