Documents of Nachum Margolin and Moshe Langnas

An eighteen-page set of documents produced as a result of the proceedings in the case involving the issue of passports to Nachum Margolin and Moshe Langnas. The set includes documents issued by the Olkusz County Office, the "Hamagszyn" Quarterly of the Tourist Department, the State Police Station in Bolesław, as well as the applicants themselves. Nachum Margolin, born on 18 March 1918, and Moshe Langnas, born in 1913, residents of the Bolesław municipality, were under the care of the Preparatory Centre for emigration to Palestine. The passport was necessary for them to go on a trip to Palestine organised by the "Hamagszyn" Tourist Department. A police officer noted: "[...] they have been staying in this police station since 1936. During this time, they have behaved well, their reputation is generally good [...] as a result, from the point of view of this police station, there are no obstacles to issuing them with passports for travel abroad".
