At 47 Jaracza Street, a villa was built in 1900, owned by Edmund Stefanus, owner of a steam boiler factory. The well-known Łódź architect Franciszek Chełmiński was responsible for its design. He designed the building in an eclectic style with decorations on the façade. The interior of the villa was also richly decorated with wall paintings, stucco.
