Objects

A work by Lili Ratner referring to another work by the artist entitled 'Exodus from Egypt' (MPOLIN-M1362). It depicts a man leading the Jewish people towards freedom. However, it is not - as in 'Exodus from Egypt' - Moses leading the Israelites, but a figure leading the inhabitants of the ghetto outside its walls. Interestingly, among the liberated, at the front, the artist probably depicted Janusz Korczak walking with a child on his back. JO
