Full-body cabinet portrait photograph of a seated man, from page 12r of the Garnek family album

Full-body photograph of a man. He is sitting on a white seat, with his right leg placed on top of his left (high up, and the sole of his shoe is visible in the deflection), his right hand is resting on his knee and his left hand on a white table, which is also, like the seat, a studio prop (from the set). The man is dressed in uniform, a cap with a large round brim and short visor, and knee-high boots. The photograph in duplicate: one of the prints darker, the other lighter. Both pasted on dark cardboard. The back is unprinted and light-coloured. The prints were inserted into the two windows of the recto side of page 12: top left and bottom left. Next to it on the same page (top) and on the adjacent page (p. 11v) were other photographs of the same man (see earlier numbers in the collection), of a similar age, which suggests that they were taken at around the same time. It is most likely that the photographs were taken no later than 1917 (before the Bolshevik aggression against Finland).
