A bench-shaped lamp. It is supported by three short legs – two of which are at the front with the third being attached to the backrest. In the front there is a an elongated trough with the shorter sides turned outwards, divided into eight sections used to hold oil poured during the feast. The trough is attached by two rivets to an openwork backrest, in the centre of which a there is a depiction of a seven-branched menorah is visible stylized as the Tree of Life. On either side of the menorah there are two lions rampant, supported on an arched base with a prominent inscription in Hebrew: "Light the Hanukkah candles." The entire composition closes with an arch topped by an open crown on which a shames, or additional sleeve for a candle, has been fitted. No manufacturer's markings.
The Hanukkah lamp was purchased for the collection of the Rzeszów Regional Museum in 1977.
