The lamp consists of two parts connected by screws. The first part is a narrow moulding with rounded shorter sides and a wavy lower edge, supported by two wide legs. Eight profiled oil sleeves are attached to the bar with rivets. The other part of the lamp is an openwork screen. In its centre there is a seven-branched candle holder – a menorah – placed in an oval frame and topped with an open crown. The menorah is supported on either side by two lions standing on their hind legs. Originally, a ninth lamp – a shames – was attached to the top of the crown, but is now missing. There are also no manufacturer's markings.
According to information in the old collection inventory, the Hanukkah lamp was donated to the District Museum in Rzeszów during the war by unknown representatives of the Jewish population.
