House at High Synagogue in Krakow

A brick house at 40 Józefa Street is connected to the High Synagogue. The house has a rectangular plan, the cellars are covered with a barrel vault. The interior layout is double-arched and partly transformed. The elevation of the building facing the street is four-axis. The first floor windows include rectangular frames. The roof is gabled and was covered with tiles. The ground and first floor rooms include cross-vaulted vaults. The interiors facing the street include Renaissance columns between the windows.
