Identity documents

There are seven identity documents (a total of 126 pages) of various individuals, issued between 1915 and 1922 by the C.and K. District Police Headquarters in Olkusz (K. u. K. Kreiskommando Olkusz), the German Civil Administration of the Będzin district (Deutsche Zivilverwaltung des Kreis Bendzin), and the Olkusz County Office. The documents include identity cards, personal documents, and passports. The photographs showing representatives of the Jewish community in the Olkusz district are particularly interesting. Interestingly, Abram Pankowski's document features a portrait of him with a cigarette in his mouth. Another curiosity is the passport of Lejbus Seidman, whose cover is made from an advertisement for "merchant furnished rooms" offered by A. Mentlik in Radom.
