The Jewish cemetery in Głusk was established at the turn of the 17th and the 18th century. According to sources, the last person was buried there in 1942. [1.1] The cemetery is located in a forest near Zdrowa Street, and covers almost 100,000 sq ft. [1.2] Before World War II begun, the ohel of the Wajsberg Family (land owners from Kalinówka) was located there in the cemetery.During World War II Germans utterly destroyed the cemetery. Under German occupation the gravestones were taken out to build pavement in the settlement. The cemetery was also a place where Nazis murdered many Jews. Among the killed were Sura Grenc, her 5 year daughter and Poles who had helped the mother and her child hide in the nearby village of Majdan Mętowski.
