Objects

The building of the former Jewish Orphans' Bursa of the Jewish Handicraftsmen's Association (Shomer Umonim) is located at 6 Podbrzezie Street. The initiator of establishing the bursa was Róża Rock (1881-1926), known as the "mother of Jewish orphans", who managed the Jewish orphans' home at 64 Dietla Street. The brick, modernist bursa building was constructed between 1929 and 1930.
