Digital visual documentation of Jewish heritage

The Scala Theatre had been in operation since 1912 in the building at 15 Więckowskiego Street. It was run by the Germans during the Second World War. After the Second World War, in 1947, the building was handed over to the Jewish Provincial Committee for creating a Jewish theatre. Fundraising for the construction or renovation was carried out, with additional funds provided by the Central Committee of Jews in Poland.
