Kiddush (Hebrew: sanctification) is a blessing recited over a cup or goblet of kosher red wine at the beginning of the Sabbath. The person leading the prayer and those present during the ceremony should taste the wine.

The Kiddush goblet from the collection of the Przypkowski Museum in Jędrzejów is supported on a circular foot with two handles. The edge of the spout is upturned. The body is adorned with engraved decoration, including two architectural motifs and plant and geometric motifs on the sides. The main motifs are separated from the top and bottom by zigzag lines.

The item is marked with the initials of the assay master "вп" (Vasily Alexandrovich Petrov) and the hallmark of the Moscow Assay Office – St. George, with the date 1885 and silver fineness mark of 84. The handles bear the hallmark of the Moscow Assay Office – St. George.

The goblet was purchased for the collection from Bogumił Langer of Skarżysko.
