Kowea Itim le-Tora house of prayer in Kraków

Photographic documentation of the site

The building was erected ca. 1810 on the initiative of the religious brotherhood of Kowea Itim le-Tora. Previously, a house of worship also stood on the same site, which burned down in 1773. Only in the second half of the 19th century, it was adapted for use as a house of prayer. In 1912, the building was rebuilt in neo-Romanesque style, designed by the architect Łazarz Rock.
