In the letter, the Rotbaums ask Stryjkowski to grant them written consent to make a stage adaptation of the novel Bieg do Fragalà [Running to Fragalà]. The senders pledge to send the writer ‘an overall structural plan and list of individual scenes’. They are hoping that Renato Guttoso (the author of the graphic design for the novel) will design the costumes and set decorations.
