Letter to Bronisława Roller

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his son on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “On the occasion of taking over the company from the existing representatives, I send you my warmest wishes for success and fruitful activity, it’s nice of Mr Agrell that he wants to make you more linked to the business by offering you a share in our company. I have no doubt that you’ll devote yourself to the work with all zeal to please Agrell and secure for him and yourself a favourable post. All of us here emphatically and intuitively feel that you constantly and at every opportunity think of us, and obviously we wish to be together with you and the rest of the children as soon as possible, but we can only calmly wait for better times, because for the time being, this is not going to happen. You can get further information from the local branch of Hamburg-Amerika Lines, where they know exactly what formalities are required!”
