Letter to Emilia and Marcin Ratz

The letter from Roma to Emilia and Martin Ratz in Russian, on a single sheet (of thick paper - wrapping paper?) folded to send in a triangle, the stamp survives. From the contents: "I am sorry that I have not written to you for so long, but I had many reasons for this. Firstly, I was in a terrible mood, Lusia [Herc?] is feeling unwell and the weather is very nasty. Now my mood has improved in connection with the possibility of building a Polish [...] battalion which would fight together with the Red Army, actively and truly helping in the fight against fascism". The name of the Russian town Gubacha appears in the text (Halina Altman stayed there for some time).
