Letter to Emilia Ratz

The letter from Halina Altman to Emilia Ratz, again on half sheets of ruled charts. From the contents: "I was recently in Warsaw for a few days, visiting my father. I wanted to finally settle the matter of demobilisation, but I didn't manage to do so, as I couldn't find the respective chiefs. In any case, they promise me that the matter will be settled in the near future. [...] Warsaw left an extremely unpleasant impression on me. Throughout the whole of my stay there, I walked around terribly depressed. It seems that together with the streets and houses, each of which is linked to some memory, my youth was lost, everything that constituted the most essential content of life was lost'. People and places mentioned in the letter: among others Roma, Mietek [Endler], Genek Zadrzyński, Arek Sztern; Katowice, Warsaw, Łódź, Moscow.
