Letter to Ewa Kuryluk

part of the collection

The emigration cut off Teodor Bok from his friends. Letters and rare meetings were not enough. He wrote: "I'm aware of delving deeper and deeper into loneliness, but it doesn't frighten me; it rather fills me with a slight sadness, because the moment I took up art, I already made a choice" (Letter from Teodor Bok to Ewa Kuryluk of 1 July 1975).
