Letter from Marta Glocer to her son on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “We’re well, thank God, we’re healthy, we go out for walks in the Avenues (Aleje), where the whole bunch of us meet up: beloved Jaga, dear Ewulka, Wandeczka and, of course, we, the elderly, the main topic of our conversation is our beloved children and grandchildren scattered around the world. Recently, we’ve had few news from our dear Janulka and Halinka. Apparently, their place is endangered with some kind of childhood disease – they’re both packing to leave with the boys, but they don’t know where to, they’re a bit undecided – apparently Stefanek and Andrzejek are quarrelling and fighting and it upsets both mothers – it is definitely easier to raise girls [...].
