Letter to Halina Altman

The letter from Emilia Ratz to Halina Altman on a card of thick, stiff wrapping paper, on the reverse side visible postmarks (the card has been folded into a triangle and thus closed). From the contents: "Marcin [...] is absorbed in work at the factory on the new American machine. He works a lot, 18-20 hours a day, which understandably, given his wartime diet, takes its toll on his health, which is not the best anyway. He often gets blood from his nose and coughs. He has been to the doctor, but the doctor finds nothing, all the analyses and X-rays show that his lungs are healthy, and it is in general such a weakened organism".
