Letter to Halina Kraus

It is part of the collection

Letter from Bronisława Roller to her sister on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “London is sad now, due to the black-out, it’s already dark at four o’clock and you can’t get anything done. What am I supposed to do here? I have to find something to do. I might get some paid work through the Polish Committee; I’ve applied for that. In any case, when Stefan leaves, I’ll accept any job, even a ‘domestic’ one, as long as I have something to do and don’t have to spend money. I hope it’ll work out.”
