Letter to Halina Kraus

It is part of the collection

Letter from Bronisława Roller to her sister on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “I don’t know how to reply to your question whether you should stay in France and learn something there. First of all, if you succeed, you’ll probably go to Sweden. Which, by the way, is certainly not easy, but maybe from France, having a U.S. visa, you’ll be able to do it. I feel that if you get to Sweden, you should move further straight away. First of all, you must think about not losing your visa, that’s the most important thing. [...] | As for learning, I think that you can learn everything on the spot, if you want to. And even here, when you learn, they pay you a minimum of 65 cent per hour, so I see no need for you to stay in France just for that reason. I don’t know what you want to learn? Is it about some profession that pays better here, or do you want to get qualifications for office work?”
