Letter from Leonard Lawendel to his sister-in-law on 2 pages. From the body of the letter: “Yesterday, I returned from a several days trip during which I dealt with the issue of our loved ones. I met with the gentleman whose address you had given me two months ago. It took me some time to find him. I mentioned that name of Tobolski and he wrote down everyone’s names. He explained to me that they must have money there for the journey and that he doesn’t take the money and cannot send it to them.”
