Letter from Marta Glocer to her daughter on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “I’m really an old woman now, as I’m 65 years old and this age, with my infirmity, seems really advanced. It’s strange that until now I haven’t realised that I have not so much time left to enjoy life – I’ll try to save my health in order to prolong my existence as much as possible, I’ve never wanted it more than now. I feel perfectly well, my dearest Janeczka, in spite of the emotion of yesterday; apparently tears of joy are harmless.”
