Letter to Janina Puncuch

part of the collection

Letter from Bronisława Roller to her sisters on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Forgive me for not writing for such a long time, but you can imagine how much rushing around, how much paperwork and hassle I had to go through with my U.S. visa. On June 3, I already had my visa in hand and I have been calmer since then. I have everything prepared, now I’m just waiting for the ship to leave any day now. I won’t feel so lonely with a blessing from you and our beloved Parents, but anyway, these days one can’t feel sorry for oneself, I have to be as hard as a rock, it’s just that my nerves are exhausted and they don’t allow me to be as I would like to be.”
