Letter to Mieczysław Kraus

part of the collection

Letter from Bronisława Roller to her sister on 4 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Let me repeat: don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by mourning. Our poor mother wouldn’t like that. Be cheerful and I promise I’ll be too; we’ll thus surely accomplish more. After all, there is so much to do. Today, we’ve received first letter from our Dear Father and Hanulka. You have probably already received yours too. It is written on 24-7 (19)45, so a month ago. It came from London: The Jewish Agency for Palestine. Information Department 77, Great Russell Street, London, W.C.I. [...] | The matter of your departure is urgent for me. However, if you think that they need you there, I won’t try to dissuade you. You’re on site and you know better, me, being here, I suppose it’s possible to do the same from here.”
