Letter to Moritz Weber on a studio photograph of Edward Weber

A photograph of Edward Weber in a uniform (without a cap), full-length, studio, with a letter written on the back in German to Moritz Weber, his brother, to Hrubieszów. At the top of the card there is a seal with the inscription: K. u. K. Fejdjägerbataillon Nr. 16. | Ersatzkompagine

The letter was sent without a postage stamp. A postal seal with the inscription K. u. K [unread.] | NOWORADOMSK, it's date starts with 10, the rest is illegible - however it can be concluded that the letter was sent on the same day as it was written.

In the photo, on the left, there is a chair and a background with trees behind the figure. Three quartes of Edward Weber figure visible - more of his left side, head also en trois quarts; hands folded. The photograph is from the period of First World War.

From Kurt Weber's memoir "Dokumenty podróży" (Gdynia 2014, p. 16) we know that there were seven Weber brothers, one of them died at the front.
