The correspondence card sent by the Nieznanowskis from Warsaw to their sons in Magnitogorsk. The last of the surviving letters. Written just over a month before the invasion of the Soviet Union by the Third Reich. From the contents of the letter (spelling slightly altered): "Our dear sons The card of 1 April was received we are healthy [another word uncertain due to a hole punched at a later date:] our earnings so[i?] it is very good that you are living together and we would like to be together with you as soon as possible we are looking forward to your photo with us so nothing new and whether you have already bought clothes and underwear and in general how are you doing. You once wrote to us that you were going to get an office job and already so much time has passed and you are still working on a construction site. Maybe you could find out where your cousin Mendel is, just like you found out about Uncle Leizer. I would like to end our letter with a greeting from your parents, H. Nieznanowska M. Nieznanowski, and bows from all your relatives and friends".
