Letter to Teofil Glocer

part of the collection

The letter from Wladyslaw Glocer to his father on 4 cards. From the contents of the letter (original spelling): "I will not run through all the phases of our material flourishing or the temporary decline that has shaken the foundations of our prosperity and achievements for the second time. Although we remember well all the good and bad moments accompanying our efforts, we remember well the sad day of writing down the balance sheet of our pre-war welfare, which was the result of Sisyphean work and Father's strong will in the pre-war era, although we have not yet recovered from the impression of the insane devastation and crisis still lingering, thanks to which our already quite powerful ship, built at a rather fast pace, was sunk as if pierced by some deadly torpedo, which we did not abandon quickly saving ourselves and leaving the crew at the mercy of the raging storm". | MW
