Letter to Teofil Glocer

part of the collection

The letter from Halina Kraus to her father on 5 cards. From the contents of the letter (original spelling): "Since this morning I have been in an elevated mood. I got up at 6 in order to be on time for the bath at 7 (which I did not want to miss), and already at 9 I set off with my friends (who are in the photo) for a trip on Lake Kineret, including a visit to kibbutz Ein Gew and the ruins of the oldest synagogue in Kfar-Nachum (Capernaum). [...] Tiberias is beautiful. From the window of our room you can see the blue lake, the green banks in flowers, and on the opposite side the snowy peak of Mount Hebron. A fairy tale. It's hard to believe that the world remained just as beautiful after that terrible flood. | MW
