Letter to Teofil Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Mieczysław Kraus to his father-in-law on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Dear Father! Thank you very much for your reply to my letter in the paragraph devoted to me, which pleased me greatly. First of all, I’d like to tell you, dear Father, that Halina – who, of course, was very anxious and nervous about your fate, even when there was already news from you – has now completely calmed down, is full of comfort and the best hopes for the future! Stefan has almost outgrown me. He’s a kind, sensible, and affectionate friend. We all can’t stop regretting that you didn’t let us persuade you, dear Father, to leave – you would probably feel best here, in Palestine. We all hope to see you in America soon.”
