From the contents of the letter (original spelling): "As you know, my sister's husband, 3 weeks after I started to treat my sister, was cut off from her during the Warsaw Uprising, as he could not come from Warsaw and we did not see him again. This was a great difficulty for me, as I was the only person who had the moral duty to take care of her, not only from the medical point of view, but also from the general life aspect, which in those times was not an easy thing, even with regard to the healthiest people. | MW
