Letter to Władysław Glocer

It is part of the collection

Letter from Janina Puncuch to her sister and brother-in-law on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “First of all, please accept my best wishes on the occasion of your son’s birthday and on the occasion of your birthday as well, dear Mietek; you know well what I wish you and I wish the same for myself. I’ve written you a card yesterday. Today, I’ve received a letter from Franio – unfortunately still from Berlin. He had a letter from his Parents, they are healthy and very much want to see Franio – I understand what that means. Franio talked to people who came back from Warsaw – there is food, although it is very expensive, you can also get clothes – the sad thing is that there is typhus and compulsory vaccination was implemented. The Germans don’t want to let them into Warsaw. The councillor was only allowed to enter the city for 10 days to close personal affairs. I’m afraid it’s going to take a while – for obvious reasons, Franio prefers to go there officially. If it were to still last on a little longer, he’ll try to get permission to go there in private.”
