Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his son on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Greta promised to write us before she leaves and we’ll look forward to the dispatch about the happy arrival of her and the baby. I can imagine your mutual happiness; it’s good that at last you won’t be living separated but together and, God willing, forever! I’m glad that you will try to welcome your family decently and that you’re preparing nice surprises for the beloved child, please give her a present from us and give Greta a nice bouquet with wishes: may her life be rich as flowers and full of smile from now on! I would personally prefer you arrange yourselves modestly for the time being, avoid glitter and unnecessary publicity, which in the end provokes jealousy and unkindness – you better live quietly, one for the other, and for your close group of friends, then you’ll find contentment in yourselves and respect among people!”
