Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his son on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “First of all let me greet you, my beloved Greta, with my beloved Anita, in the arms of my beloved Władek, who was missing you, and I ask God that from now on you’ll always be happy and cheerful together, and that we may soon be able to share your joy in the company of our entire dispersed family! I hope you had a good and peaceful journey and found all our loved ones there in the best of health. [...] | I can imagine your joy at the moment of greeting, we await with impatience the dispatch announcing your successful arrival. How did you find, beloved Władek, your child after a year’s separation – apparently, she has grown into a nice little girl, and you’ll have a lot of joy with her.”
