Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his son on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “We wrote you on 12/8 and received your letter of 17/7 with the good news that you had well rested in the mountains and gained strength for your new work. For the relocation of your office, I wish you and the Addo company all the best and continued growth. It’s a pity that there has just been an interruption in the delivery of further shipments from Malmö – but let’s hope that this interruption will soon cease! Is the cost of new premises too much of a burden for the business? [...] You ask if you should write to Addo about leaving – this is now redundant and obsolete. We have to wait for better times which would be more normal and without impediments – let us believe that they’ll come soon and, in the meantime, let’s hold on tight and take care of our health, which is the most important thing.”
