Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his son on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “I’ve received your short letter from 24/7 together with a letter from Mr Mieczysław, to whom I’m also replying to thank him for contacting us from time to time. It is a pity you’re not together! We last sent you a lengthy letter on 19/8, and I already know that our anxiety about your silence was unnecessary, as now messages from you and the Rollers arrive quite regularly, for which I sincerely thank you; it’s only a pity that there are no letters from Halina and Stefanek, nor from Lolek and Mietek. It worries and surprises me that Halina also doesn’t mention Mietek at all! Franio had a message from his brother Mirek saying that he and his family, including his sisters, stayed in Logatec (Italy). We’ve only had one letter from Greta so far – I hope you’re together now.”
